I am personally still not convinced about massage guns - they feel awkward to use. It must be my body, because massage is great (and proven since years to be good). Yet, the data is starting to look convincing on it. So I should experiment more with the guns.
Although, active recovery, mobility and so on are at least as good.
Plus, what are training all the time that you are getting so sore 😁?
You know, when you are actually training your hamstrings regularly 😜.
I agree that they are a bit awkward to use. I usually have my wife help me with it. I also don't like the feel of the gun on my back, even though they tout that certain zones are OK on your back for use. I use them mine almost exclusively on my legs.
And my soreness this time around was from not having done barbell training for a while! 😀

Love my massage gun!
