You are so right. Here in Australia right now, the humidity sucks so indoor Peloton rides are my go to. But hubby always rides outside and every weekend I try to get out with him on a ride so we can chat and enjoy. We are itching to try the newly completed Rail Trail close by. It has replaced an unused railway line. 24km at the moment but will be 132 km when finished through beautiful countryside. Lots to explore and enjoy fitness bliss.

Robyn, that trail sounds amazing! Also, I think the aspect of riding with your husband (same as I do often with my wife) is a really important part of finding "fitness bliss." I was thinking about this today, as Jen and I are doing a podcast this week on hiking and walking. Thinking about my favorite hikes...all of them are ones that I've done with various "fitness friends" or people important in my life!

Thanks for commenting.

We are heading to London for 2 months soon and hiking UK is my biggest fitness joy. We spent time there every year for 20 years until COVID so this is first post COVID and I am sooo excited to get back into 'walking in the woods'

Thanks for subscribing. Look for my posts on hiking in UK.
